Improved Throw

Improved Throw [General]

You are trained in techniques that make throwing opponents easier for you, as well as making it harder for them to throw you.

Prerequisites: Str 13, Improved Grapple
Benefit: So long as your hands are free, you do not provoke an attack of opportunity when you attempt to throw an opponent. You also gain a +4 bonus to your Strength check to determine how far you may throw an opponent.
Normal: Without this feat, you provoke an attack of opportunity whenever you attempt to throw an opponent.
Special: A fighter may select Improved Throw as one of his fighter bonus feats. A monk may select Improved Throw as a bonus feat at 2nd level, even if he does not meet the prerequisites.

Note: This feat uses the rules presented in the "Throwing an Opponent" article.

Powerful Throw

Powerful Throw [General]

You know how you make the best use of your great strength when throwing an opponent.
Prerequisites: Str 16+
Benefit: You gain a +5 bonus to your Strength check to determine how far you can throw an opponent. This bonus stacks with the bonus granted by the Improved Throw feat.

Special: A fighter may select Powerful Throw as one of his fighter bonus feats.

Note: This feat uses the rules presented in the "Throwing an Opponent" article.

Heave

Heave [General]
You do not rely so much on trying to hit the weak spots in your opponent’s defenses with your thrown weapon as you do on hitting with enough force to hurt anyway.
Prerequisites: BAB +1, Weapon Proficiency (dagger, club, shortspear, spear, dart, javelin, throwing axe, light hammer, trident or shuriken)
Benefit: When using a thrown weapon, you may substitute your Strength bonus to the attack roll instead of your Dexterity bonus.
Normal: You add your Dexterity bonus to any attack rolls made with a ranged weapon.
Special: A fighter may select Heave as one of his fighter bonus feats.

Toppling Heave

Toppling Heave [General]
Your attacks have become so powerful that you can sometimes knock your opponents off their feet with your thrown weapons.
Prerequisites: Str 15+, Powerful Heave, Weapon Focus (any thrown weapon)
Benefit: When attacking a small, medium or large opponent, if you cause more than 10 hit points of damage in a single attack with a thrown weapon weighing at least 2 pounds to which you have applied the Weapon Focus feat, you may make an immediate trip attack against that opponent as a free action. The effects of the Improved Trip feat do not apply to this attack. The target may not attempt to counter-trip you.
Special: A fighter may select Toppling Heave as one of his fighter bonus feats.
