Fallout 3?

I thought I would throw this out there on our forums before sharing it with others. I'm just now getting into Fallout 4 and after looking at the case for the first time, I discovered last night that it comes with a digital copy of Fallout 3 (good for XBox One, not PS4). The code to redeem the game is below. First come, first serve (I dunno if it works for XBox 360, I can't even remember if they used the same format for codes on 360, but if you want to try you're more than welcome).

If the code doesn't work it's because one of these other greedy assholes got their grubby fingers on it first.

I like the cut of your jib MI.

I didn't use the code. Darker strikes me as the kind of dude who would get a lot of mileage from that download. My dark horse is Tal.

I have a copy of my own already. It's a cool game; I think Fallout 4 is the better game for basically the same reasons as I think TES: Skyrim is better than TES: Oblivion. The underlying game engine is just enormously better for both of the newer games.

Also, I play PC games exclusively. I have an old first-gen XBox someplace, but nothing newer in the way of consoles. Still, it was a nice thought.

I don't play video games anymore. I just can't seem to get interested in them. I used to be a big Halo/ COD player but just put the sticks down one day and never picked them back up.

I've never been much for PvP-type shooters. I gravitate towards Fallout/Elder Scrolls. Also very partial to the Hitman franchise. I find that I need a plot to keep me interested in that sort of game.

The most enjoyable single-player story I can recall was Half-Life 2.

I used to play a lot of video games. A LOT. Once my career got to a certain point, I rarely had time to play. I made exception for Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel because they're HELLA great games and the girl I was living with at the time enjoyed playing them with me. These days, though, if I can get an hour of Minecraft under my belt, it's been a good day.

I still remember the time Fixxxer and I played zombies on Call of Duty together. The game was okay but Fixxxer made it special.

I imagine that there are many things that can be said about Fixxxer and his ability to make things special.

Speshul.

That said, I really do miss the simple joy of multiplayer with friends. Nazi zombies with BR, Payday 2 with D&F, Civilization 4 with astute1... all treasured moments.
