Introduction: Old Dogs, New Tricks.

Training Mission vs. Tyranids:
Gargoyle Horde (Mag. 20): 100xp, 1 renown (+1 renown/25xp to Yngvar for combat gallantry).
Hormagaunt Horde (Mag. 50): 200xp, 1 renown.
Tyranid Warrior (Elite Unit): 50 xp, 1 renown (25xp to Sarlock for near single handed destruction).
Tyranid Shrike (Elite Unit): 50xp, 1 renown (+1 renown/+25 xp to Sarlock for single handed destruction).

Totals:
Gunter: 400xp, 4 renown. [400 spent, 0 remaining, +20 (Combat Arena victory)]
Pax: 400xp, 4 renown. [0 spent, 400 remaining]
Aisha: 400xp, 4 renown. [400 spent, 0 remaining]
Yngvar: 425xp, 5 renown. [400 spent, 25 remaining]
Sarlock: 450xp, 5 renown. [400 spent, 50 remaining]

I am going to take the Precision Targeting Devastator Deed for 200XP. For XP expenditure, that's all I will do this time around.

I am also taking the Battle Damage deed, which costs no XP. I do, however, have to sacrifice a Fate Point, so I am down to 2. I gain two more common cybernetics (Cybernetic Senses (Sight) and Bionic Locomotion) bringing my total to 3 + The Flesh is Weak (1).

I will be getting a Heavy Flamer with my Signature Wargear Talent.

Fixxxer: It's in ROB. Basically for sacrificing a FP from your total, you gain two common cybernetic implants. The FP is for having been through so much that you had to get so many cybernetics. No XP cost, just the FP.

However, it restricts it a bit. No Servo-arm, servo harness, MIU, or auger array.

Going with Right Place, Right Time (400XP). Signature Wargear Talent addition will be the Mastercrafted Chainsword. I guess the Erioch Fortress brings the quality grab bag. 25 XP left.

Please list out your intended XP expenditure here.

You are all still rank 1 initiates and as such can only draw from the rank 1 skill trees (general marine abilities, specialty specific, chapter specific, and deathwatch trees).

Aisha's Chapter specific has been listed on the DoD page and can be accessed via Rites of Battle.

Damn, those Iron Hands are HARD. You can legit have the flesh is weak (3) before you reach Rank 2. Granted, you cant go higher than that, but that is damn good.

Simple AG (200XP) +5 AG

Well done, Kev. Looks good and the PC sheet has been updated. Yngvar is getting a mite more deadly. His movement speed has also increased as a result of the AG purchase, not to mention a higher bonus when figuring out Initiative; dude is becoming a solid battlefield controller.

I have 1150 newly awarded XP and I think 80 from hand-to-hand.

Weapon Skill (simple) 200
Willpower (simple) 200 XP
Fearless - 800 XP

Remind me again, D&F, since I've forgotten where it was posted. There was a Techmarine advancement found in an additional supplement that you and I were talking about. It's supposed to be at character creation only, but Pax was 100xp shy at the time and you said it was cool if I just held off until I got that XP. Where can I find this again?

It is in the Living Errata - it is the Techmarine specific Deed found in Rites of Battle. "Call of the Omnissiah" I think it is called.

You can definitely get that, but the bionics it promises or grants still won't be available for use until you have time to get them installed back on the Doomsayer.

Pg. 8 "Omnissiah's Calling" (amends pg. 85 in Rites of Battle, making the deed actually worth taking).

80xp is correct. It has been added and updated on your PC sheet.

50xp for winning a match in the H2H arena and 30xp for losing.

Alright, after much consideration, I think Pax is gonna go with Intelligence (Simple) (200xp), Intelligence (Intermediate) (500xp) and Ballistic Skill (Simple) (500xp), all from the Tech Marine charts.

Yeah, that is what I figured.

Remember I did allow players to switch up to two ability scores with two others should they so choose. I know you didn't roll for a different set of armor, but I can't remember if you opted to do that or not. That could help things, brew.

Small update, Mac and I are working on getting Rustin squared away right now. So, all PCs should be updated before my day's end. Even though now we are all ready to proceed. You guys are doing a really good job of keeping up with this game in light of real life also (disappointingly) occuring simultaneously. So, thanks again. It makes me feel all tingly as a GM.
