Well, those are some pretty spiffy rolls so I don't see much need to pick my Power Armour + Histories, etc. So I'll roll for those.

Edit: I deleted my previous post not for the rolls generated but because I used the wrong kind of dice.

Power Armour, History Table, History, Extra History (if needed)
I rolled 1d10, the result is 10 = 10.
I rolled 1d5, the result is 2 = 2.
I rolled 1d10, the result is 5 = 5.
I rolled 1d10, the result is 9 = 9.

I'll go with my Blood Raven Tactical Marine. He won't be that much of a leader, but able to fill in a pinch. He's most geared toward combat and intelligence.

And yeah, as long as he can plug any holes tactically. Say for instance if Fulrik leaves the HB at home and bringe the Fyre Wyrm - his Soundstrike Missile Launcher - to the party instead, it would be nice to have someone who could feel that Rate of Fire gap. Even req a heavy bolter if necessary. Or blast away with confidence.

Anyone ever played an Apothecary and have some good ideas for spending XP for Darker's character? He is using a pre-gen character, so I didn't know if they came with their XP expended or if he would be getting the 1,000 XP in addition to his extra 500XP given to him by me.

I'll look at sig wargear as well, but any suggestions would be welcome from you guys.

Which pregen character is it? FFG released a bunch of them, so I am assuming it is one of theirs. I probably have a copy and you can get them too by going to the deathwatch support link - the same link you downloaded the Living Errata from.

He is going to be playing Brother Lucian from the Final Sanction pre-gen characters list. And I didn't think they did their XP expenditure yet. So he has 1500XP and a Sig Wargear. I will look through good apothecary talents and advances, but if you guys have any input that would be very helpful.

Daner how is your character coming along?

Alright, so I'm probably just being retarded and reading right past it, but are we creating our characters at base minimum, meaning 1000xp to spend, or something higher? Since I've heard we're already going to have been a group for a while, how long have we been in the Deathwatch?

1500 XP and a Sig Wargear. You have technically been in for a few months but I didn't want to overpower everyone, so most of the missions you have been on haven't given you a TON of experience, but I am giving you an extra 500XP and a Sig Wargear.

He is basically half-way between an assault marine and a tactical marine. Someone who leads by example, if at all.

EDIT: Daner, the Living Errata changed the benefits of Crusade Reinforcement to either Talented Forbidden Lore (xenos) OR (demons).

I would recommend that everyone playing reads through the homebrew rules in detail to know what may or may not affect your characters specifically. For example, Daner - the Blood Ravens solo mode ability is essentially made kaput by the homebrew rules which allow the squad leader to project his chapter abilities to the entire squad at +1 to the Cohesion cost.

Haha, most of it is copy and pasted from the rulebooks. So don't blame me for grammatical mistakes.

I'll get the changes to Crusade Reinforcement done up. And I probably won't be using solo mode too much anyway. Should be pretty well in the thick of things with my Jump Pack + Power Sword combo.

Yeah, I know. Just busting your chops. The usage of "clip" in the book when they are referring to a box "magazine" drives me up the fucking wall.

POWER SWORD + JUMP PACK = GOOD TIMES.

I forgot to include any renown in there, and I suppose since you guys would have gone on a handful of missions, so I could reason that you would have some sort of renown. Let me figure it out and get back to everyone. It won't be a ton of renown, but it will be more than zero.

Also, Fixxxer, could you roll for what Power Armor you get as well? So roll another d10 and I will tell you what armor you got.

That sounds great to me. You can roll all your appropriate stats here. So first give me some characteristic rolls, re-rolling your lowest if you so choose.

After that give me your Wounds and FP.

Then give me a power armor roll, power armor table roll, and then a power armor history roll (d10, d5, d10).

You also start with an extra 500XP, so 1500 total to spend, and a Sig Wargear for FREE.

That should be just about everything for right now. So roll away!

Mark, I am reading that the Corvus gets Two (2) Power Armor histories. Rites of Battle, pg. 151.

Pg. 151 of Rites of Battle has the stats for this Armor. Since you don't have the supplement, Fixxx, here is what you need to know.

Mark VI 'Corvis' Pattern Power Armor.
Head 8; Body 9; Arms 8; Legs 8
Kg 170 (the lightest of all the Armors).
Enhanced Strength +20 (standard)
Autosenses +15 (+5 more than other models, bringing your total awareness checks to +25 combined w/ heightened senses)
Pain Suppressent Doses: 6 (standard)

MK6 “CORVUS” ARMOUR
The Mk6 “Corvus Suit” also saw much action during the Horus Heresy. It featured dual technology circuits that allowed the
replacement of rare or sophisticated parts with common or basic alternatives. It also included fail-safes such as duplicate
power cabling. The left shoulder pad, which always took the brunt of enemy fire, retained the studded Mk5 construction
so as to be easily replaced.
Mk6 Rules
Mk6 is the lightest variant of power armour, and has gained a reputation for having a smoother fit to its moving parts
(despite them being interchangeable with Mk7 armour). This small difference has often led to the Corvus suit being fitted
with a jump pack, for use by an Assault Marine. The wearer gains a +10 bonus to Agility. (Holy Jesus Fuck your AG is going to be sick).

Yeah my bad, so Fix has to make 2 separate double rolls.

1d5 (Table roll) and then 1d10 (Armor History) and then another 1d5 and then 1d10, and after that I can give you the options from ROB should you get those tables.

And don't forget that you can +/- 1 from your power armor history rolls to give you a wider range of choice on the tables.

Alright Fix, so you can choose any table you want for both of your Power Armor histories. And on the first history you can choose 6,7, or 8 on any one table. On the second you can choose, 4,5, or 6 on any one table.

Histories can be found on pg. 162 of the CRB, or pg. 153-155 of ROB.

The one from RoB I'd like is Mk VI Elements, but since I'm already wearing a Mk VI suit, it doesn't make thematic sense to take that one. As a result, I'll take Terror Be Thy Friend for CRB for the first history. For the second, I'll take A Fury Like Lightning from CRB.

This done, I need to settle on the last 500xp I have yet to spend and select my Signature Wargear and then I'll be mechanically finished. I'm waiting on a clarification from D&F for this. Mruozu, when I'm finished with the stat block, would you like me to PM it over to you so you can look it over, or should I just go ahead and post it and you'll look it over on the forum?

I'll have an appropriately badass backstory written up posthaste.

At the bottom of the page there's a section titled "add new comment." It has a text area for you to type your comment in. Below that is a bunch of helpful text about which HTML tags are able to be read by the forum. Under that is a link titled "roll dice." Click that link to expand it into the die roller.

In the "Roll" area, just put the roll you want to make and it will show up at the bottom of your post once you hit the "save" button. For example, I'll roll 1d8.

You can utilize modifiers as well. For example, I'll roll 1d10-2.

You can make multiple die rolls in the same post. You just need to separate them with a semicolon. For example, I'll roll 1d20+12 twice.

Taking all of the above examples, my "roll" section will look like this:

1d8; 1d10-2; 1d20+12; 1d20+12

Anything you put in the "notes" section will show up below with the roll results.

EDIT: It's worth noting that while you can edit the text of your post, die rolls and notes can't be edited. This is to prevent less than stellar types from cheating.
