Angus Harmon is an army sergeant, and is very well-liked among his men. He takes care of his men, drinks with them, socializes with them off the battlefield but most importantly of all, he protects them. He never asks one of his men to do something he would not do himself, and in fact he often puts himself at personal risk to reduce the risk to his men. He leads from the front, laughing and screaming encouragement to his men. And they love him for it.

Angus Harmon was the son of a soldier. During his entire childhood, his father never stopped telling war stories, his own and those of men he’d known. His stories focused primarily on the thrill of battle and the value of personal honor. Naturally, it was a foregone conclusion that Angus himself would join the military when he came of age.

Angus joined up when he was fifteen. He was quickly successful, partly because of the combat training his father had given him and partly because he was able to perform feats that his contemporaries could not. His psionic abilities first manifested themselves at puberty and were integrated into his training. To this day, Angus knows that his abilities are psionic in nature, but he doesn’t know how he does the things he does. He just thins about it and it happens.

His prowess on the battlefield and his positive attitude quickly earned him commendations and promotions. He’s only been a professional soldier for three years, and is younger than most of the men he commands, but this has never presented itself as a problem. His charisma and his competency go far in earning the respet of his fellow soldiers.

Angus knows he is not an effective ranged combatant. When defending, he holds the line with his men, using his guisarme’s reach to best effect. When attacking, he charges forward boldly, often manifesting burst go get ahead of the fight before his men. Against multiple opponents, he will manifest stomp if he reaches them before his men arrive (so they’re not caught in the effect as well), allowing them to swoop in and wipe out the prone targets. If facing a tough opponent, he will generally try to put them on the ground via a trip attack with one of his weapons or an overrun attempt. Barring that, he will reduce the opponent’s effectiveness by sunder his weapon. If need be, he will manifest biofeedback to keep himself in a fight.
