Physical Appearance: Kamin Moriah is short, his arms and legs are still thin and wiry, but he has developed a slight potbelly as the result of a sedentary lifestyle. As the Arch-chancellor of the Imperial University, he is normally garbed in scholarly robes of excellent velvet faced with slashes and stripes of brilliant orange. His complexion is rosy with good health despite his middle years, and his hazel eyes still shine undimmed. A frieze of short-clipped graying blond hair is all the hairstyle he can claim.
Starting Attitude: Indifferent.
Modifiers: PCs are alumni of the Imperial University and graduated with honors (+2), PCs converse knowledgeably about topics related to engineering or architecture (+4), PCs are known clergy in the church of Corones (-2), PCs are known clergy in the church of Vella (-4).
If Hostile: Reports the PCs to the appropriate authorities if he has reason to think that they are involved in crimes and blacklists the PCs from involvement in university activities and academics. If the party includes PCs with reputations as scholars in his field or a related field, he goes out of his way to tarnish their academic reputations.
If Unfriendly: Excuses himself, claiming to be busy, and leaves or asks the PCs to leave his presence.
If Indifferent: Socially expected interaction. Arch-chancellor Moriah listens briefly to the PCs, and refers them to a lower-ranking university official or government worker who is suited to handle their concerns.
If Friendly: Assists the PCs by providing advice or furnishing useful contacts to support their activities.
If Helpful: Helps the PCs by providing legal assistance, information, or craftsmanship services in support of their activities.
Personality: Forceful, confident, and affable. Arch-chancellor Moriah is a dynamic individual who combines extraordinary erudition and learning with a sense of vision. He is extremely observant and insightful, and often divines the goals of people he meets without ever having to discuss them.
