The D&D Archive has been pretty dead lately. Covid. Rampant depression. Life in general. I get it. We're not a large group, so when one or two of us ends up with life getting in the way, we all feel it. I'm tentatively planning on possibly running a PbP RPG game in the future, but I'm just not ready yet. In the meantime, would anyone like to play Arkham Horror? It will give us something to do, give some bit of life to the Archive and it won't require as large a commitment as an ongoing D&D game.
I'mma tag a few previous players and personally talk to a couple of people. For those who haven't played before, it's a cooperative game, the players vs. the setting. The game can handle up to eight players. There's a LOT of rules, but like D&D, I'll handle the majority of it and you'll just need to be familiar with how your character moves and fights. It's all d6-based, which makes life easier. The game is designed to screw you over at every turn, but if you can manage to come out on top, that results in a sweeter feeling of victory.
Anyhow, I'll keep this invite open for a week or two or until we get enough interest to proceed. Please indicate interest by replying directly to this post.
