Starting on 11/22/2013 and extending to 11/29/2013, my presence here will be substantially reduced. Holiday travel. I should still have the ability to check in, but it will probably happen no more than once a day.
So, what's up with Talanall lately? I've been missing him and hadn't heard he'd be taking a leave of absence from us. Is everything alright?
I don't think he loves us anymore.
He's got a lot of real complicated stuff happening - but he should be back soon.
It looks like Mike is MIA once again. Last I spoke to him he was trying to get his old house back.
He's still on facebook, but didn't respond when I asked what was up.
He usually gets back to me on Gchat, but hectic things are hectic, I suppose.
All right, people. I will be flying back home tomorrow to surprise some family and while I don't foresee this being a huge inconvenience in the games, there may be sporadic periods where I simply cannot post. If it becomes problematic, GMs please NPC my PCs.
I'll be traveling a bit this weekend, so I may be a little sporadic about answering messages and forum posts. I expect to be back to normal no later than Monday afternoon.

Golden Week starts tomorrow in Japan and a friend of mine from back home is coming to visit during. So, while I will probably be able to get my Jugg posts in, I may not finish my Tiefling for the Ancestral Burdens game for a week or so. Sorry for the inconvenience, Tal.
Mike, if need be NPC Jugg. I will try to stay on him, though.
Shouldn't be a problem. Enjoy yourself, man.
I promise to do the picture-thread proud when all is said and done.
Today begins a period of Hell for me. I live in a relatively small city that has 2 major universities and a half dozen smaller colleges and Spring graduation begins tomorrow. Come Monday, this city will be blissfully quiet, but until then, the proud parents of every student will be in town to watch their child walk across a stage. And then they have dinner reservations at the best restaurants in town, which includes mine. For perspective, on the average busy night, I'll feed between 200 and 225 hungry people. We had to stop taking reservations weeks ago when we hit the 420 mark. And that doesn't include Saturday and Sunday brunch service, wherein we'll usually do around 300. I fully expect that if our service staff in on top of their game, we'll double that, meaning that in the course of a full day's service, we'll feed over 1000 people... in a restaurant that has a maximum seating capacity of 305 at any one time.
So in short, while I'll be present this weekend, I might be limited to one or two short visits to the Archive per day. While I'd prefer to deal with combat decisions myself, I'm giving official notice to Ed and Mike that I'm totally cool with you guys making decisions on behalf of my PbP characters if it helps speed the games along, even OOC combat actions.
My God have mercy on my soul.
Hah, the joke's on you. Gingers don't have souls!
Starting sometime tomorrow afternoon, my availability this weekend will be limited. We're driving back to Houston and won't return to NOLA until late Sunday evening. I expect to be able to visit the site at least once or twice a day, though, and updates to 2EE shouldn't be a problem, either. Hopefully.

Hah, the joke's on you. Gingers don't have souls!
Do so! I've got a bag of them I use to weigh down important papers. Stole every one of them fair and square.
I'll be back home sometime this evening and will be back up and running tomorrow morning.
I'm done with hell weekend #1. 72 hours that I bothered to clock in for this week. Tomorrow's an off day. I'mma turn off my phone, sleep until I wake up on my own, sleep a little longer than that, go to the gym and play on the internet all day. Maybe catch some drinks with friends in the evening.
This coming weekend we have 4 banquet events running concurrent to brunch service on Saturday. Then Sunday is Mother's Day, which is statistically the busiest day of the year in the restaurant industry. Odds are fair I'll be working some pretty long hours again between next Friday and next Sunday.
I spoke too soon. It's one emergency after another now that we're back home. I don't know when I can update 2EE today, maybe not at all until tomorrow, but I will try to keep up with the other two games.
We received some very distressing news this evening. I don't know what my availability is tomorrow but I will try to keep up.
Sorry to hear this, and I hope that whatever it is, you and yours come out of it safely and happily. If it looks like you're busy with other concerns for more than about 24 hours, I'll treat Oskav and Rory as NPCs until your return.
We're heading to Alabama around 8am tomorrow and won't be back until ??? Sunday evening. So after I update 2EE here in the next hour or two, I won't be able to mess with it until probably some time on Monday. But I will try to keep up with Cataclysm and Ancestral Burdens.
Where in AL you going?
Michelle's photographer lives in Gadsden.
I'm heading to Canada on Monday. I'll be away for 9 days. I will not have my phone in Canada. I expect to have wi-fi but it may be sporadic
I'm over here on a super not busy day at work just staring at the screen hoping and praying for an update. Ugh, fuck it I guess I will do work.
I'm alive. I can work on 2EE sometime today.
We're driving to Austin sometime tomorrow mid-afternoon and won't be back until late, late Sunday evening. I do not anticipate I will have time to update 2EE again before that, but if I can, I will. I will also have my laptop with me so if there is a free moment here or there, I will check in; as always, I will try to stay on top of Ed's games via phone.
I'll be in Austin in a little less than a month.
I'm alive! I'll update 2EE tomorrow.
Going to Austin for work Sunday until Friday... I should still have time to post, but if you are waiting for me, NPC my actions, don't let me hold anything up.
I'm still present and keeping up with the games, but I somehow managed to break the screen on my laptop. I've got a new one coming on Friday, but until then I'm on my smartphone, where access to my pcs' stat blocks is inconvenient, so please bear with me on possibly having to roll for me for a couple of days.
My presence might be a little spotty tomorrow and Friday, as I am traveling to sit with a family member who is convalescing from surgery. It is nothing serious, and no reason to be concerned. It's quite possible that none of you will notice a difference.
I'm just sitting here masturbating. Carry on.
I've been dying all week, but now that I'm better, I'll be out of town for the weekend. I will bring my laptop with me, however, and as we are still recovering, I expect we will spend most of our time at the hotel. So I should still be available.
Tomorrow Aly and I are heading to Tokyo to celebrate turning 30 correctly. Monday we will be flying to California for some R&R. My posting will be limited until I get back to Japan. If need be, please NPC my PCs accordingly. Thanks.
I'm leaving for a camping trip until Sunday. I'll have my phone and some service, so I'll still be around to post, but I may need help rolling and don't expect any long narratives. If I go too long without reply, assume the service is too bad and NPC me.
Officially back in Japan and ready to get back into the swing of things. I will spend most of today running errands and catching up on the ICs.
I've just moved into my new place and, as per usual for Comcast, their records were wrong and there's no signal running to the apartment. I've got a tech coming on Saturday morning to turn everything on. I have no doubt I'll be on the phone with Comcast next month disputing a tech visit charge on my bill. Anyhow, combined with the fact that this weekend is graduation weekend and I've got over 1300 reservations between Friday and Sunday, my time and the internet might be a bit precious. So, while I'll make every effort to check in, please don't hesitate to NPC my characters if it keeps things moving.
So, this week has sucked. But I'm back. I'm in my new place. The cable is turned on. And I've been forced to part and build myself a new computer, which is something I intended to do in a couple of months anyway. I have brunch service in the morning, and I know weekends are generally kinda slow around here anyway, so I'll spend tomorrow evening catching up and reinserting myself (that phrasing was just for you, Jeff) into the games.
Welcome back. Sorry things have been shitty lately, but then again, congrats on the new machine.
Woo! Fixxx is back!
Awesome, dude. Welcome back to the party.
I'll be lurking about for the next few months.
Welcome. Forever isn't too long, you know.
Hey, guys. I've been unexpectedly away without announcement due to an act of god. I knew a hurricane was coming through, but that's really no big deal for Floridians. But this hurricane, even as small as it was, well and truly fucked up 80% of my city's electrical grid. I just got power back yesterday. It's been pretty miserable. Phone constantly on the verge of dying, lost everything in the fridge and chest freezer, no air conditioning, which was the worst part about it all. The roommate and I have spent the past few days camping out in the living room (the coolest room in the house) in our underwear, sweltering and sweating like a whore in church. Heat stroke has actually been a very real concern, and there are people who still don't have power. My best friend lives two streets over and it's being reported that he might not have power for the rest of the week.
Anyhow, I apologize for my absence. I'm off to the gym and then lunch with a friend and I'll update myself on the games afterward.
Shit, I had no idea it was that bad. Last time I looked at the tropical weather reports, I wasn't even sure Hermine was going to make hurricane status at all, and as you say, I know a little Cat 1 usually isn't a big deal for a native Floridian. It didn't even occur to me that the storm might have wrecked your shit.
Glad you're okay, and no apologies needed.
