Who is behind The D&D Archive?

The Dungeons and Dragons archive currently has five staff members. These five guys get together and deal with site issues, determine the acceptance or refusal of submitted material, judge the contest entries, etc. The Dungeons and Dragons Archive wouldn't be what it is today without the efforts of this strange hive mind.

Fixxxer is the original mind behind the Dungeons and Dragons Archive. He developed the site concept and initially got the ball rolling on creation. The layout and design were his creations (with a great deal of help from his wife) and most of the site coding and scripting was done by him. At the end of the day, his name is on the bill.

deadDMwalking acts as proofreader, spellchecker, and creative mind. Before a new part of the Archive is added, he walks through it to make sure the text makes sense, the images align properly, etc. Most of the text at the Dungeons and Dragons Archive was either written or at least edited by him. Essentially, deadDMwalking fills all of the roles not already taken by the other staff members.

Talanall is the editor here at The Dungeons and Dragons Archive. Once the staff has accepted submitted material, he performs the formatting, spellchecking and other processes that are necessary before material can be added to the Archive. He is responsible for insuring that the material here at the Archive is not only readable, but also conforms to the rules of the game.

Aladdar is the technical guru here at The Dungeons and Dragons Archive. He joined the staff in March of 2006. His responsibilities include maintaining and updating the web forum, dealing with coding issues and general technical advising. Without Aladdar, there would be no Dungeons and Dragons Archive web forum.

Olshanski’s creativity and technical proficiency earned him a place on the team as a staff editor in September of 2006. Due to the increasing popularity of the site, his job is to work with Talanall with the formatting, spellchecking and other processes that are necessary before material can be added to the Archive.

MinusInnocence has been contributing to the Dungeons and Dragons Archive since before it was launched. During some of the "dry times" when submissions were scarce, MinusInnocence stepped up and worked on submissions of his own to help fill the gaps. His mastery of the written word earned him a place on the staff as an editor as of June 2007.

Darker has done quite a lot to help the Dungeons and Dragons Archive over the past few years. He was the first person to be nominated and accepted as an Offical D&D Archive Competition Judge, as well as the original architect behind cash and gift certificate prizes for Archiveist Quill Competitions. His overall helpfulness and technical acumin earned him a position on the Dungeons and Dragons Archive staff in April of 2008.
