There is a reason adventurers are called as such. Without adventures, they’d just be “people”. Here you’ll find adventures for any group of characters, whether hapless, heroic, cautious or careless. This includes adventures for all levels of play. Everything needed to turn people into adventurers can be found here.
|
| Campaign Settings |
Some adventurers seem content to move from one dungeon to the next to the next without pausing to involve themselves in the world around them. For others, a campaign setting is a useful way to immerse the characters. More than a mere series of towns and dungeons, a campaign setting is an entire world for the PCs to lose themselves in. The settings found here are likely to evolve and grow as their authors fill them out. |

|
Adventurers lead very dangerous lives and danger seems to follow them wherever they go. Even when they’re not on a specific adventure or quest, robbers, assassins, monsters or just blind luck often puts their lives on the line. Whether it is a single “scene” that includes a challenge, a simple trap, or a clever ambush, you’ll find it here.

Adventurers don’t exist in a vacuum. They are always somewhere. Whether it’s a general store, an inn, a woodland clearing, or an entire city, an adventurer’s location is important. Here you’ll not find just a list of possible location instead each one is meticulously detailed and defined. They’re perfect for adding in custom encounters, or just to add a level of detail to a world that would be impossible “on the fly”.

Game Concepts

An adventurer cannot simply be; he must also do. A class helps to define both the capabilities of an adventurer as well as his likely responsibilities. Each class, whether core or prestige, offers unique abilities, skill sets & opportunities as well as the ability to customize a character to match any conception.

Every wise adventurer soon learns “the right tool for the right job.” Whether fighting trolls or crossing a chasm, eventually they will need to rely on something other than their raw abilities. Some adventurers even use mundane equipment in innovative ways that allows them to reserve their magical abilities for a more difficult fight. Whatever gear you might need, you’ll find it here.

|
|
Some may remember a time when fighters were fighters and elves were elves. If you wanted to distinguish your character from the others just like it, you might have different equipment, but that was about it. No longer. Feats distinguish characters from each other by granting them special abilities others don’t possess. Each feat is precious, and there are plenty to choose from. Here you’ll find general feats, meta-magic feats, item creation feats, divine feats, racial feats, exalted feats and more. Fulfill the pre-requisites and any of these feats is available.

Among sentient creatures, there are a few ‘great questions’. Perhaps the greatest is “Who am I?” Although there are no easy answers, your race probably has some role. From gruff and hardy dwarves to morally defunct undead to an evil scheming devil, you’ll find a race to suit every niche, from emperor to farmer, hero to villain.

In a world where words of power can blind, burn or kill it might seem that anything is possible. Anything is possible, but power doesn’t come easy, and every spell needs thought and research. Here you’ll find new spells described and explained in detail.

| Powers |
A warrior can kill with his sword. A wizard can enslave with his words and gestures. But someone who wields psionics can do either with nothing more than the power of his mind. Here you’ll find new psionic powers described and explained in detail. |

Anybody can get into a fight; not everybody can finish one. Here you’ll find characters that are willing to put their bodies on the line while trading blows with their opponents. These are more than just warriors these are combat specialists. Any class that focuses primarily on beating the snot out of others, whether with sword, bow or bare fists, you’ll find them here.

There are some who rely on more than their physical abilities to attack their foes. To those who explore its depths, the mind reveals powerful secrets that can be unleashed. Whether it is the power to reshape the body or the ability to create a concussive blast, you’ll find someone with that ability here. This isn’t magic it comes from the inner depths of the being.

There are powers in the world beyond casual understanding. Those versed in these mysteries wield a force referred to by outsiders as “magic”. This force is mysterious and poorly understood, but there are those who try, and even those who occasionally succeed. Here you’ll find characters that are primarily spellcasters, whether arcane or divine.
|
|
|
How can you fight something if you don’t know it’s there? There are some that do not require magic to disappear or become invisible. Rogues, sneaks, cut-purses, thieves and scouts, among others, can be found here… if you look hard enough.
|
| The Masses |
While adventurers make up the heroes and villains of legend and myth, the vast majority of the people in the world are just trying to survive. Some work as chefs, some rule vast tracts of land. Still, they lack the determination (or foolishness) to go out and challenge the world apart from society they are society. From bakers to book makers, cartographers to kings, you’ll find the least likely characters to take up a sword and charge down an unknown path. |
| Instant NPCs |
While some NPCs are meant to be special, sometimes you just need a generic NPC to use once. Or twice. Or a dozen times. Here you’ll find NPCs categorized by class, race and level, allowing you to lift a nameless stat block and insert it easily into your game in no time at all. |
